The members of the League of Women Voters of Weston held their annual meeting on Wednesday, May 24. At that meeting we reaffirmed our support of the town's commitment to sewer avoidance. We also reaffirmed our position advocating protection of both the quality and quantity of the water supply in Weston.
In light of these two positions we call on the Board of Selectmen to find a solution to the septic/sewer problem which will protect the unique character of our town and allow Weston to continue in its vital role as a part of the southwestern Connecticut greenbelt.
